This blanket is approximately 26" x 38" for extra length & width, to make sure you feel completely covered. It also has a pocket on the inside to hold nursing pads, burp cloths, pacifies, etc.
The strap wraps around your neck and then goes through a button-hole on the opposite side. Then you just adjust the blanket to where you want it, and then tie the strap into a knot. You can either leave the knot for future use & convenience, or undo the knot & re-tie it each time.
Hide-N-Eat nursing blankets have a 9" piece of boning on the top to hold the blanket out so you can have eye contact with your baby. The 9" is just the right amount to hold the blanket out just enough, but without exposing anything by accident!
Some of the Hide-N-Eat nursing blankets are double-sided, while others are just a single piece of material. (NOTE: The single piece blankets usually end up being approx. 24" x 36") If you'd prefer one option over the other, just let us know when placing your order.
